The Raisin Valley Land Trust is a non-profit, community-based corporation organized for the purpose of preserving environmental, agricultural and historical characteristics of the upper River Raisin watershed. The Trust's current activities include:

Seeking donations of conservation easements (i.e. development rights) on important wildlife habitat, agricultural lands, and scenic properties within the watershed and surrounding areas.Promoting public awareness and appreciation of the importance of the river and its rural environment.

Your membership dues will go toward:

• Land preservation fund.
  
• Community environmental education
  
• Environmental projects
  
• Publicity, mailings and other operating costs
  

The RVLT is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization, and all your donations are deductable.
