Fall 2003 RVLT Home Page Vol. 11, No. 4

THANKS

The Raisin Valley Land Trust has enjoyed a productive year, thanks to the generous and tireless support of a number of key individuals. As we gather our thoughts this Fall, we extend our gratitude to:

The land owners who have placed almost 500 acres of rural land under our protection for generations to come.
The Stubnitz Foundation, whose generous support has provided funds to insure that the lands will be protected indefinitely.

Our members, who continually spread the word about the importance of land preservation throughout the Valley.

The invaluable experts who have worked with us this year to plan new land preservation strategies and to develop our role as land stewards: Lisa Brush (The SE Michigan Stewardship Network), Ray Fahlsing (Michigan DNR - State Parks), Sherri Laier (The Nature Conservancy), Barry Lonik and Bob Smith.

And finally, to the incomparable volunteer Joan Bailey, whose participation has increased our efficiency tremendously; and to Janet Cowling, our administrative staff person and Ken King, graphic designer; who work well beyond the fees we pay them.
