Meet Our Members - Jennifer Bruggeman
Jennifer Bruggeman joined
our board of directors in March of 2004. Jennifer is a general practice
attorney with a great interest in environmental law. Jennifer is originally
from Great Falls, Montana, otherwise known as Big Sky Country! She
received her BS in criminal justice from Montana State University
in Bozeman, Montana. After graduation, Jennifer moved on to The University
of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon for her law degree. While
living in the environmental hotbed of Eugene, Jennifer became an active
member of the University of Oregon Law School’s environmental
group “Land Air Water” (LAW). Jennifer became one of four
co-directors for LAW in charge of organizing and running the Public
Interest Environmental Law Conference, one of the largest environmental
law conferences in the world. Each year, the Conference attracts 15
keynote speakers from all over the world, as well as, 500 panelists
and over 4,000 visitors. Jennifer graduated from Oregon in May of
2003 and passed the Michigan Bar exam in July of 2003. Since then,
she has been practicing law in Adrian, Michigan and has become involved
in the environmental community through work on projects such as the
Lenawee County Open Space and Preservation Program and joining the
RVLT board of directors. Jennifer lives in Adrian with her husband
Mark Bruggeman.
